Joining the Department is via two main mechanisms:

1- The Central Administration for Foreign Students’ Affairs (The General Administration for Admission and Scholarships of Foreign Students) affiliated to the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. The rules, applied for foreign students at Egyptian universities at the bachelor's or licentiate stages, are applied to students enrolled at this Department.
2. To sign agreements between the Egyptian government, or its representative, and the governments of concerned countries, or their representatives. .
·Papers needed for joining the Department:
1- A certified copy of the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent.
2- A certified copy of the passport.
3- A recent medical report proving that the applicant has a good health and does not suffer from AIDS.
4- Six recent personal photos.
5- Tuition fees:
Tuition fees are 2300 US dollars not including accommodation or textbooks.
