As part of efforts to strengthen academic and practical partnerships and contribute to preparing student talent for the modern labor market, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ebada El-Araby, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek El-Koumi, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, conducted an inspection tour of the Information Technology Institute (ITI), Tanta branch.

The visit aimed to review the summer training provided to students of the Information Technology and Geographic Information Systems departments and assess the practical and applied benefits they gain through the training. These efforts contribute to enhancing the students’ readiness to compete in the labor market.

Dr. Nasr El-Din Abdel Aziz, Director of the Information Technology Institute and the Tanta Digital Egypt Creativity Center, gave a comprehensive presentation on the training tracks offered to the faculty’s students, with particular emphasis on the programs introduced during the current year.

The Dean and Vice Dean expressed their appreciation for the high technical and professional level of training provided to students at the institute. They emphasized the importance of such experiences in developing students’ skills and expertise and connecting theoretical academic knowledge with practical application, thereby preparing them to meet the demands of the labor market.

The tour concluded with the distribution of certificates of completion for the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program to students who had successfully fulfilled the training requirements. The ceremony was held in a celebratory atmosphere marked by appreciation and pride in the students’ achievements, with the faculty extending its best wishes for their continued success in their academic and professional careers.
