Prof. Mamdouh El-Masry, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University, received the team from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, headed by Prof. Ahmed Ali Ahmed Al-Khatib, a professor at the Faculty of Science, Sohag University, and an expert at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The visit was there to evaluate the Islamic Archaeology program, the Greek and Roman Archaeology program, and the Egyptian Archaeology program.

The accompanying delegation included:

• Prof. Shaban Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aal, a professor at the Faculty of Archaeology, Fayoum University

• Prof. Ahmed El-Ansary, a professor of Egyptian Archaeology at Sohag University

• Prof. Abir Qasim, a professor of Archaeology at the Faculty of Arts, Damanhour University.
