The activities of the training course organized by the Public Service Center at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University, kicked off today under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Obada El-Arabi, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed El-Sayed Fayyad, Director of the Public Service Center at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University. The course is titled “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Social Anxiety (Phobia)” and is delivered by Assistant Prof. Amira Mohamed El-Daq.
The event was attended by Prof. Raafat Abdelrazek Abou El-Enein, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hala El-Sayed Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Mohamed Gamal Qenawy, the faculty Secretary-General.
The training course will run for three days, totaling 15 training hours. Participants will receive an accredited certificate from the Faculty upon completion. It is worth noting that there is no final exam; certification is based solely on attendance and participation. The course is being held during the mid-year academic break.
