The Faculty of Arts at Tanta University hosted an extensive scientific seminar entitled "Stories About the Grand Egyptian Museum at Al-Rimayah Square."
The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Hatem El-Sayed Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The event was attended by Prof. Ahmed Abada El-Araby, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Hala Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ghada Ahmed Roshdy, Head of the Department of Archaeology; Prof. Haggag Ibrahim Mohamed, Professor at the Department of Archaeology and the seminar lecturer; Prof. Gamal Khairallah, Professor at the Department of Archaeology and Seminar Coordinator; and Prof. Mohamed Gamal Qenawy, Secretary General of the Faculty, with wide participation from faculty members, assistant teaching staff, and a large number of students from the Department of Archaeology.
The activities began with the national anthem and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from Prof. Ahmed Abada El-Araby, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the attendees and expressed his appreciation for the Department of Archaeology, describing it as one of the Faculty’s key pillars in preparing distinguished academic graduates. He also extended his thanks to Prof. Haggag Ibrahim for his continuous dedication to scientific and academic work.
