Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Ahmed Abada El-Araby, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University, the Faculty organized this morning, Sunday, March 15, 2026, the first introductory seminar for the National Reading Project under the slogan "A Generation That Reads… A Nation That Rises."
The seminar was attended by Prof. Ahmed Abada El-Araby, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Hala Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Magdy Wakok, Coordinator of Student Activities at Tanta University; Prof. Mohamed Taha, Professor at the Faculty of Education and University Coordinator of the Project; Prof. Sobhy El-Fiqi, Head of the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty; Prof. Taher El-Degheedy, Faculty Coordinator of the Project; and Prof. Mohamed Gamal Qenawy, Secretary General of the Faculty, in addition to a number of faculty members and students.
In his speech, Prof. Ahmed Abada El-Araby welcomed the attendees and extended his thanks to the distinguished guests and participants, emphasizing the importance of the National Reading Project in developing students’ cultural and intellectual awareness. He encouraged the Faculty’s students to actively participate in this national initiative, which carries the slogan "A Generation That Reads… A Nation That Rises," highlighting the valuable opportunities it provides for self-development, raising the name of the Faculty and University, as well as the significant financial awards offered to outstanding participants.
