Faculty of Arts, Tanta University, organizes a Workshop to Promote a Culture of Quality as Part of the “Beginning” Bedaya" Initiative

As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing the educational system and promoting academic excellence, the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University hosted a comprehensive workshop entitled "The Bedaya (Beginning) Initiative for Quality Assurance in Education" on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in the Faculty's Small Conference Hall. The event attracted a distinguished audience of faculty members and students.

The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Ahmed Abada El Araby, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

The event was attended by several members of the Faculty's leadership, including Prof. Hala El-Sayed Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ezza Abdel Hamid Qabil, Director of the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit; and Prof. Mohamed Gamal Qanawy, Secretary-General of the Faculty.

Focusing on the theme "A New Beginning for Quality Assurance in Education," the workshop explored several key topics, most notably the role of Egyptian university students in achieving quality assurance standards. The discussions emphasized that students are the primary partners and the cornerstone of academic success, highlighting their active role in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within higher education.
