Tanta University President Inspects the Faculty of Arts and Affirms Support for Persons with Disabilities and the Development of Service and Research Centers

The Faculty of Arts at Tanta University welcomed an inspection visit by Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. He was received by Prof. Ahmed Abada El Araby, Dean of the Faculty, as part of the University's commitment to conducting field follow-ups on the progress of work across its educational and service units.

The University President was accompanied during the tour by the Faculty's Vice Deans: Prof. Abdel Razek El-Koumi, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Hala Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Raafat Abdel Razek, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in addition to several directors of specialized centers and units at the Faculty.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein began his tour by inspecting the Center for Students with Disabilities at the Faculty. He listened to the students' concerns and suggestions, as well as those of their parents, and responded to their inquiries and proposals.

The University President emphasized the pivotal role of the Center in providing educational and rehabilitation support, highlighting the University's vision of creating an inclusive and attractive learning environment that ensures equal opportunities for all students with disabilities. He also stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to integrate students with disabilities into various student activities to develop their skills and abilities and overcome any obstacles that may hinder their effective participation alongside their peers.
