An awareness seminar at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University, titled ‘A Generation Without Tobacco,’ addressing the impact of smoking and drugs on individuals and society

   Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masri, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, the Community Service Sector at the Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with the Student Welfare Department, organized an awareness seminar titled “A Generation Without Tobacco” on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Hall 4. The event was attended by Prof. Raafat Abdel-Razzaq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ahmed Eyad, Professor of Clinical Psychology and former Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; along with a number of faculty members, staff, and students.

The seminar began with the national anthem, followed by a welcome speech from Prof. Raafat Abdel-Razzaq, who extended his greetings to the guests and attendees. He expressed his gratitude to the college administration for its continuous support of awareness activities and emphasized the importance of raising youth awareness about the dangers of smoking and addiction, highlighting their destructive effects on individuals, families, and society, as well as the negative impact that extends to various aspects of life.
