An awareness seminar titled: ‘Renewing Religious Discourse and Building Awareness among University Youth’ at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University

    As a part of the Delta Region Universities Alliance initiatives, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mamdouh El-Masry, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and in the presence of Prof. Hala El-Sayed Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, Prof. Raafat Abdel-Razzaq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Prof. Haitham Fahim, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Students’ Welfare Administration at the faculty and the university, organized on Thursday, 27 November 2025, an awareness seminar titled: “Renewing Religious Discourse and Building Awareness among University Youth.”

     The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Raafat Abdel-Razzaq, who welcomed the attendees, affirming that organizing such events reflects the interest of both political and academic leadership in renewing religious discourse and enhancing youth awareness. He stressed that these activities contribute to strengthening sound religious thinking based on authentic sources and support students’ ability to distinguish between correct ideas and misguided ones.
