Tanta University Celebrates World Autism Awareness Day with the Participation of Students from the Intellectual Education School, in Line with the Presidential Directives to Support Persons with disabilities

  In line with the Egyptian political leadership's commitment, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, to providing comprehensive support, accessibility, and inclusive services for persons with disabilities, and on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, observed annually in April, Tanta University, in cooperation with the Gharbia Directorate of Education, organized a celebration with students from the School for Intellectual Education on Saeed Street in Gharbia. The event reflects the University's commitment to fulfilling its educational, social, and community service mission.

The celebration was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University; the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ahmed Abada El Araby, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Chairman of the Board of the University's Center for Students with Disabilities; Prof. Rania Abdo El-Imam, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; and Prof. Mohamed Zain El-Abdeen Merikeb, Director of the University's Center for Students with Disabilities.

The event was organized in coordination with the Undersecretary of the Gharbia Directorate of Education, Prof. Abdel Fattah Abdo, Director of Education in Gharbia; Prof. Enas Khadr, Director of the Department of Special Education; and with the participation of Mr. Mahmoud Khamis, Principal of the School for Intellectual Education.
