As a part of the Delta Region Universities Alliance initiatives, and in celebration of the 11th Cultural Forum, an awareness seminar was held at the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University, to combat violence against women and promote community awareness

   On Sunday, 30 November 2025, the Faculty of Arts at Tanta University witnessed the activities of an awareness seminar titled “The Eleventh Forum for Combating Violence Against Women,” which was held at the Center for the Blind and Persons with Disabilities at the faculty at 11:00 a.m. The event is within the framework of the Delta Region Universities Alliance initiatives to combat violence and promote community awareness.

   The seminar was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University and Prof. Mamdouh El-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and in the presence of Prof. Hala El-Sayed Nada, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs, Prof. Raafat Abdel-Razzaq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Wael Shahin, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture Prof. Mohamed Saeed Abdel-Meguid, Head of the Sociology Department at the Faculty of Arts and Prof. Zeinab Shokair, Professor of Mental Health at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University.
